Christmas Tree

My parents came down today and brought my Grandma's old Christmas tree. I got to go through all my old Christmas ornaments like my "Baby's first christmas" one. It was fun looking back and remembering when I got some of them!

We're headed down to Lexington tomorrow for baby Eden's 1st Birthday party!! :-) Her present is pretty sweet. Noah and Mel are going to LOVE us! haha

It's beginning to look a lot like CHrIstMaS!

As I sit here watching the snow fall and sip on my hot chocolate I thought I'd do a little post about Christmas!!:-)
We're doing all sorts of things to get in the Christmas spirit! From the ages of 5-18 my aunt would get me a santa clause for my birthday so that when I'm on my own I would have decorations. Well, that day has finally come and I'm so glad she did that because our apartment is pretty festive! And my Grandma got a new christmas tree this year so she gave Aaron and I her old one. Mom's bringing that down tomorrow and I can't wait to put up our very first tree together!:)

A few of the Santas...
Until we get our real tree, I made a little make-shift Christmas tree! :-)
And this.... Is Halo Santa. He sits in the chair Aaron plays Halo in so Aaron named him Halo Santa and when he sits down to play a game will say "Hello, Halo Santa!" haha. (I love you Aaron!)

Today was our last day of classes, so we've had Christmas on the brain all week at school too! All 18 of the first-years did Secret Santa this week and, I must say, my secret santa was awesome! Since Aaron won't buy me a boxer I asked for one from secret santa. haha. Instead of a real puppy, she got me an "I love my dog" picture frame with a picture of boxers! haha it was really cute. I also got lots of candy, a cute little photo album for my Bachelorette party and some other little Christmas things. We had our big reveal last night and it was fun to see who everyone had! Today is our ugly sweater day. We wore them to our only class and then we're having an ugly sweater party tonight. I made a pretty sweet one with a big wreath on it. I still have to figure something out for Aaron though....

13 days until Christmas!!! I can't wait! (even though Christmas is going to be quiet this year with all the brothers gone except Joe and his family)
